Madano commissioned me to create an animated explainer video for their new KIITE tool. The animation needed to explain the principles behind their new influencer targeting software, and how this was a better proposition than old fashioned targeting tools with no basis in Big Data.
With a basic script already in place, the animation was storyboarded, with individual “people” represented very simply as coloured balls in a contemporary, flat-illustrated world. The main challenge here was to make a potentially confusing and complex concept as simple and accessible as possible. The script was therefore executed in the form of titles rather than attribute a “brand voice” in the form of a voice over. This helped keep the KIITE brand simple and international. The music bed selected was non-intrusive, friendly and contemporary in feel, echoing the light, bright world of the animation.
